01 / About

The short
version

Iyad Mallah beside the Eiffel Tower at night in Paris

I build technology that looks after people — and games that remind them they're not alone.

I'm Iyad Mallah — Lebanese, and still in school. I chase the version of AI that earns the hype: at GE Healthcare I built forecasting that helps medical equipment reach the patients waiting for it; at Quantcube in Paris I'm prototyping satellite-and-economic-data models that flag food insecurity and humanitarian risk early enough for someone to act.

The rest of me belongs to game dev and magic. I've recruited and led some 30 developers across two teams and five countries — building a community-formation world engineered with game theory, and an Unreal Engine 5 movement game with realistic momentum physics that has pulled 400K+ views on TikTok, with another 500K+ on my edit account. I compose and produce my own music, perform guitar live, and have practiced sleight of hand since I was nine — because wonder is a transferable skill.

And the year I spent teaching English and computer skills to construction workers taught me more about people than any dataset ever will.

02 / Experience

Where I've
worked

Two summers, two countries, one rule: if a model's prediction doesn't help somebody act, it's just math.

Quantcube

Data & AI Intern · Summer 2026

Studied food production across Brazil, Ukraine, and the US, developing and testing a model that predicts potential food shortages worldwide from farmers' crop yields — AI built to spot hunger before it becomes a headline, so the people who can intervene get a head start.

GE Healthcare

Data Science Intern · Summer 2025

Built an AI model helping GE predict distribution channels for life-saving machines into emerging countries, with anomaly-weighting logic that kept the forecasts honest — because behind every prediction is a hospital waiting for equipment.

Independent Software Studio

Founder & Team Lead · Ongoing

Founded a software development company and personally recruited and hired every member of a distributed team spanning Turkey, the US, Romania, England, and China — shipping two games and building the online communities around them.

Private Investment Firm

Work Shadow

Shadowed the firm from the inside — watching how capital decisions actually get made, and learning how much of finance is really about reading people.

Volunteer Teaching

Volunteer Instructor — English & Computer Skills · 60 Hours

Taught weekly English and computer-literacy classes to construction workers for a year — because the people who build a city's skyline deserve to be taught its tools too.

School Robotics Team

Team Mentor

Mentored my school robotics team, preparing members for national challenges — passing down the same obsession that got me here.

Things I've
built

Founder · Global Team, 5 Countries · 2025 → Spring 2028

Community-Building Video Game

Loneliness is my generation's quiet epidemic — so I'm building a game that pushes back. Leading a dev team I hired across five countries on a world whose core mechanic is community formation itself: story, hierarchy, and belonging, engineered with game theory instead of left to chance.

Co-Creator · Second Studio Team · 400K+ TikTok Views

Unreal Engine 5 Movement Game

The second of our studio's two games, built in Unreal Engine 5: a movement game with realistic physics, tuned until motion itself is the reward. Play is the most universal language we have — and 400,000+ people on TikTok stopped to watch this one speak it.

Co-Founder · 2024

Ridelink

One school run at a time: carpooling designed for a 3,000+ student community — fewer cars at the gates, lighter mornings for working parents, cleaner air for everyone. Won in-principle approval from school leadership; funding was the only blocker.

Creator · 2024–2025

AI MYP Test Generator

Private tutoring is a privilege; practice shouldn't be. An AI exam-practice generator built so any MYP student can drill properly for free — then surveyed and validated with the students it was made for.

Independent · Cambridge Summer Course

Stock Price Prediction Model

Supervised independent project during a University of Cambridge summer course: 30-day valuation predictions across Apple, Amazon, Nvidia, and Tesla at ~70% reported accuracy — an early lesson in respecting uncertainty before asking anyone to trust a model.

Team Co-Leader · Babson College YPO Program · 3rd Place

Smart Pacifier — Infant Health, Watched Over

For single mothers and worried first-time parents: a connected pacifier concept that passively monitors an infant's internal health signals through something the baby already trusts — surfacing early warnings before they become emergencies. Co-led a seven-person team through product design, business plan, and go-to-market, pitched live to a Babson College investment committee.

04 / Programs

Places that
let me in

Summers spent collecting tools — machine learning, entrepreneurship, the science of emotion, and one very cold mountain.

YPO Boys Resilience Camp

Swiss Alps · YPO Program

A week in the Swiss Alps built to test us: trained for and climbed Dents du Midi — 10,688 feet of it — conquered a fear of tight spaces in the caves beneath the mountains, and canyoned through glacier-cold river water. Resilience, it turns out, is trainable.

Harvard University — PSYCH Emotions

2026 · In Person

Studying the science of emotion — how feelings drive decisions, teams, and communities. I brought the cards, naturally: close-up magic was my icebreaker of choice on campus.

Imperial College London — Data Science & AI with Entrepreneurship

2025 · In Person

Where the two halves of my work formally met: data science taught as something you ship, not just study.

Babson College — YPO Entrepreneurship Camp

2025 · Team Leader & Pitcher

Led a team from raw idea to finished product and pitched it live to YPO entrepreneur judges — placed top 3. The smart pacifier project above was born here.

Inspirit AI — Independent Research

Via Stanford-Led Program · 2025

Built a housing-crisis model for California predicting home-purchase costs for low-income families — machine learning pointed straight at the affordability gap.

Brown University — ML & AI with Python

2024 · In Person

My first formal deep-dive into machine learning — the summer the math behind the magic finally clicked.

Vanderbilt University — Prompt Engineering

Virtual · 2024

Learning to speak fluent AI before it was a job title.

University of Cambridge — Engineering

2023 · In Person

My first university summer — where the supervised stock-prediction project began, and where I learned that rigor is a habit, not a talent.

05 / Craft

What I
work with

01

Code & Data

Python, Lua, GDScript, Unreal Engine 5 Blueprints. Machine learning, forecasting, prompt engineering, and UI/UX design — code is the fastest lever I know for moving real-world problems.

02

Game Development

My first passion. Two games, two teams: a community-formation world built on game theory, and an Unreal Engine 5 momentum game with realistic physics that has drawn 400K+ views on TikTok. Games are empathy engines — they let people practice being human, together.

06 / Off the Clock

The human
parts

The spreadsheet version of me is upstairs. This is the rest — the cards, the strings, the songs.

01 · Since Age 9

Sleight of Hand

Studying magic since I was nine, in the lineage of Dai Vernon, David Berglas, and Shin Lim. I have performed at birthday parties and at a Harvard summer program — but mostly, magic is how I turn strangers into friends. And yes: the favicon of this site changes when you are not looking.

02 · Since Age 9

Guitar & Composition

Playing guitar since I was nine — Trinity College Level 5, performed on real stages, still practicing like I am behind. I write and produce my own pieces end to end; a few of them live in the next section.

03 · 500K+ Views

The Edit Account

Half a million views of pure visual rhythm. Editing taught me pacing, tension, and payoff — the same grammar as magic, just on a timeline instead of in your hands.

04 · Outside

Salt, Court & Altitude

PADI Open Water diver, tennis player in defiance of the heat, Duke of Edinburgh Silver — and one Swiss mountain at 10,688 feet that taught me resilience is trainable.

For the learning that only happens when you leave the comfort zone — again, and again, and again.

Cyberpunk 2077

Stay loyal to your values, even when the whole city is telling you not to.

Persona 3 Reload

It romanticises ordinary life — and makes every single day feel worth counting.
